Old Taxi Mumbai

When the tour guide said these taxis had come with the British, I assumed she meant the make or type. But on checking she meant these cars were imported before Independence (i.e. Pre 1945) they are even way older than me. I'm not sure modern cars would survive so long.

    Hi Janet,

    India is(was) 4.30 hours ahead of UK. I didn't see this before loading the latest entry, but take 4 1/2 hours off and you will be there. We will be 6 hours ahead when we get to Thailand, but the ship is doing it in two stages (30 minutes tomorrow i.e. between Sunday and Monday) and an hour between Tuesday and Wednesday so we are ready for the time when we get to Phuket.

    As regards Goa, I've typed a draft of the blog, but it will be tomorrow morning before I send it (need to check the drinks menu to make sure I have the cocktails right!!)

    Regional food, I'm not sure, this is an American boat and some of them have alredy complained to the boat staff that the buses for the tours are not at American standard!!! THIS IS INDIA!!!
